Because of You, Mothers and Babies Find Hope!
Her Story
She once sat on a cold bench, pregnant and alone, with no idea how she could bring a baby into the world. Then—because of generous hearts like yours—she walked through the doors of a long-term maternity home. There she found more than shelter. She found safety, a warm bed, and women who believed in her. She learned to cook, budget, and prepare for motherhood. She laughed again. She began to dream again. And when her baby was born, she wasn’t alone, she was surrounded by love, dignity, and the tools to build a new life.
Because of you, stories like this can become reality.
A Home Where Hope Can Grow
We are transforming a beautiful home on 6.5 acres along Nanticoke Road in Salisbury, Maryland, into Noah’s Maternity Hope Cottage — a safe, stable, and nurturing home for mothers and their babies facing homelessness, housing instability, or crisis during pregnancy.
Currently, there is no maternity home within 100 miles of Salisbury. Noah’s Cottage will help fill this critical gap by providing transitional housing and support through the first nine months of a baby’s life.
But Noah’s Cottage will be more than a place to stay. This Christ-centered home will provide mothers ages 18 and older with encouragement, mentorship, life-skills education, parenting support, and connections to medical care, financial guidance, employment opportunities, and community resources. With the support of compassionate house moms, mentors, and volunteers, mothers will receive the spiritual, emotional, and practical support they need as they prepare for motherhood and work toward independence.
Our hope is that every mother who comes through our doors will have the opportunity to build a safe, stable, and sustainable future for herself and her children.
It takes a community to create a home where mothers and babies can find safety, support, and new beginnings. Whether you give financially, donate needed items, share your skills, or volunteer your time, you can help bring hope home and bring Noah’s Maternity Hope Cottage to life.
Our goal is to open Noah’s Maternity Hope Cottage in summer 2027.
