Heal the City Garage is a vision for the future of the Heal The City Ministries property in Salisbury, Maryland. Our goal is to establish an on-site automotive training garage where individuals can gain free, hands-on training in automotive repair and maintenance while developing the skills needed for long-term employment in the trades.
With guidance from skilled technicians and mentors, participants will have the opportunity to learn practical skills such as oil changes, brake replacement, tire rotation, and car detailing. Beyond technical training, the program will offer mentorship, encouragement, and opportunities to develop the confidence, discipline, and work ethic needed to succeed in the workplace.
By investing in people’s futures, we hope to help families thrive, strengthen neighborhoods, and create communities filled with hope and opportunity.
We are already taking steps towards making this vision a reality. By helping individuals find vehicles, gain experience in the automotive industry, and connect with local mechanics for training opportunities, we are laying the groundwork for an on-site training program that will open doors to new possibilities.
