At Heal The City Ministries, our vision is to create a Christ-centered campus where hope is restored, compassion is shared, and new beginnings take root. Through projects that meet real needs with the love of Christ — from providing a home for vulnerable mothers and their babies to creating opportunities for hands-on automotive training — we are working toward healing, restoration, and lasting transformation in our community.

The Story Behind the Property of 27801 Nanticoke Road

In 1995, a vision began with the people of Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene, who sought to purchase the beautiful historic home and property adjacent to the church. That vision eventually led to the establishment of Heal The City Ministries, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to serving the community through Christ-centered outreach, compassion, and hope.

Today, that legacy continues through Noah’s Maternity Hope Cottage, a transitional residence created to walk alongside mothers during pregnancy and the early stages of motherhood. Here, mothers and their babies will find safe housing, meaningful support, and encouragement as they work toward building a brighter future. This next chapter carries forward a legacy of faith and compassion, offering a place where hope is restored and the love of Christ is shared.

The plans for 27801 Nanticoke Road extend beyond Noah’s Maternity Hope Cottage. The future Heal The City Garage will offer free, hands-on training in automotive repair and maintenance, helping individuals gain valuable skills and prepare for long-term employment in the trades.

Together, these efforts are part of a larger vision to develop a campus that restores hope, shares compassion, strengthens families, and serves Salisbury and beyond for generations to come.
